Sean leads the relationships for some of KPMG’s largest U.S.-based private equity clients and has significant sector experience in financial services, energy, cable and food & beverage.
Sean has over 18 years of experience in leading and coordinating global and domestic transaction related engagements for private equity and corporate buyers in connection with mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. Sean is dedicated to providing due diligence and deal advisory services to private equity buyers and certain highly acquisitive corporate buyers. Sean’s representative list of delivered services includes directing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, assisting with purchase and sale agreement negotiation, commenting on transaction structuring, providing bankruptcy support and leading post-merger integration activities. Sean has performed buy-side due diligence projects on domestic and international transactions ranging in enterprise value from $10 million to in excess of $5 billion. Countries in which Sean has led transactions include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, England, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, Trinidad & Tobago and the United States.
