As a Managing Partner at Valesco, Heather is responsible for the oversight and leadership of all the Valesco entities, their operations, and employees. She has direct involvement with portfolio companies through Board positions focused on strategic planning, acquisitions, corporate budget and finance, executive recruitment and development, and corporate growth. She is also involved in fund and LP management, the investment pursuit process, and the firm’s investment performance initiatives.

Heather is an entrepreneur at heart and loves learning from the great business owners that she gets the opportunity to work with and support. It is her goal to make life better for everyone she connects with at Valesco and in the world. She is focused on the power of positive thinking, meditation, yoga, and fitness during the moments of quiet time in her day. The not so quiet times are filled with a busy family life at home with her husband, Derek, and their three kids, Olivia, Lucy, and Liam.

Her academic background also demonstrates her lifelong passion for business and love of Big 12 football. Heather received a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. She also received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Venture Management from the Price School of Business at the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Heather is an Oklahoma Sooner Fan (BOOMER SOONER).
