“Tiffany K. Hagge is a seasoned Private Equity dealmaker, having originated, led and played key roles in transactions totaling over ~$25bn in enterprise value across multiple investment platforms. She recently left BDT Capital Partners to launch her own buyout firm.
At BDT, Tiffany was the Dallas-based Partner and Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Committee. She played a lead role in originating control transactions including Whataburger, MJH Life Sciences, Balcan Innovations and Rather Outdoors where she managed the deal teams and served on the company boards. Tiffany also led the debt financing practice for all BDT portfolio companies. Prior to joining BDT, Tiffany spent nearly a decade at Goldman Sachs, including playing an integral role in the Merchant Banking Division’s investment into Bass Pro Shops to take private Cabela’s and the divestiture of Cabela’s banking assets to Capital One. Tiffany began her career at CPPIB in the Private Investments group, where she worked on notable acquisitions including the carve out acquisition of Macquarie Infrastructure Communications Group and the take private of Tomkins Plc.
In 2021, Tiffany was named to Private Equity International’s “Future 40 Leaders” as a top dealmaker, where she was described as a “superstar” by her industry peers. Tiffany’s performance stems from her disciplined focus on change management throughout the investment cycle, high touch and deep relationships with portfolio company management and boards, and values driven approach to building teams and driving outcomes. In addition to her work in private equity, Tiffany currently serves as a member of the Owners Advisory Board of the NHL Dallas Stars and the President’s Advisory Board of UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Tiffany graduated from Dartmouth College with BA’s in Philosophy and Psychology. While at Dartmouth, she was captain of the Women’s Varsity ice hockey team and was previously a member of the US Women’s National team. Tiffany is originally from Coon Rapids, Minnesota and now calls Dallas, Texas home.”
