• RAF was founded in 1979 by Robert A. Fox. Our Chairman & CEO, Richard Horowitz, has been
with the firm since 1991
• Since inception, our focus has been on partnering with strong founders and/or management
teams that present a unique vision and strong values
• We acquire control positions in middle market companies across a diverse set of industries
including consumer and industrial products, healthcare, and diverse service businesses
• Our equity holders, the Fox and Horowitz families, together with a small group of value-added
investors, have a permanent commitment to our enterprise. Our equity capital is fully recyclable
• We have a long-term vision and have held many of our portfolio companies for 10+ years. Our
company structure eliminates the need for short-term realization due to liquidity requirements
• Our financing is provided by an eight-bank syndicate. We operate under an umbrella facility that
does not require approval for new acquisitions (no financing contingencies) or to make
scheduled principal payments
• We believe that the most valuable deal is a mutual investment of confidence, respect and the
desire for success over many years to come
